28th Annual Jack-O’-Lantern 5K Fall Classic Race

Northpointe Council’s Jack O'Lantern Fall Classic 5K Race & 1.5 Mile Health Walk took place Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Niagara Falls State Park. This year’s event went very well and the weather was perfect! It was a successful event with 228 participants.

Participants came from all over Western New York and Canada, as well as the states of Ohio, Missouri, and Utah, just to mention some. Patrick Klinger from Niagara Falls, NY was the overall male winner with a time of 15:41 minutes. Jennifer Spitzer from Farmington, NY was the overall female winner again this year with a time of 18:32 minutes.

All proceeds from this annual race enable the Council to provide in-person, telehealth and virtual prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery services to those affected by substance use disorders and other addictions for adults and youth in our community. As an agency, last year 92,461 individuals were served through the prevention and treatment services.
